Manchester United have made a perfect start in the Premier League with 3 wins out of 3. Although, Mourinho in his press conferences has mentioned that he would like to keep his squad intact, if offered a good deal, we are pretty sure that he won’t say no to selling some of the below players.
Bastian Schweinsteiger
Mourinho has mentioned previously that the German won’t play again for United. While Bastian doesn’t want to leave, a move to MLS or China seems ripe in the making and Mourinho definitely won’t be saying no to that.
Marcos Rojo
With Bailly, Blind, Smalling ahead of him at CB and Shaw and Blind ahead of him at LB, it is hard to see how Rojo will get adequate game time this season. With youngsters like Fosu-Mensah emerging, maybe it’s time for United to cut their losses on Rojo.
Ashley Young
He was one of the few bright spots in Van Gaal’s first year but injuries and lack of form in the second year meant that Ashley Young was rarely ever used by the Dutchman. Mostly used as a wingback or a fullback, Mourinho will never use him as a defensive option unless in an injury crisis. Young’s time at Old Trafford is surely up.
Phil Jones
Jones has struggled to get a run of games in the first team ever since he joined from Blackburn Rovers. Highly injury prone, Jones’ career has been frustrating for the United supporters. Surely, time is up now after another season blighted by injury.
