Man Utd set to agree £300,000 a week massive deal with Champions League winner

Manchester United have been rumoured to be the next destination for Jose Mourinho. Reports in Spain now suggest that the Premier League giants are willing to pay the multiple Champions League winner upto 20 million euros per season. Mourinho has no dearth of suitors but his fascination with the United job remains and as there are no signs of any change in form of United under Van Gaal, the clamour of Mourinho has also risen.

Ed Woodward may have been very succesful in closing lucrative commercial deals for Manchester United but when it comes to football deals, Woodward has failed miserably. Manchester United have failed to sign many high profile targets and the last two managers they have appointed are Moyes and Van Gaal. Even during the Moyes reign, there was a reluctance to sack him until it was mathematically certain that United won’t qualify for the Champions League. Van Gaal was a Woodward appointment as the influence of David Gill and Sir Alex Ferguson reduced after the failed Moyes appointment. But with Van Gaal’s record worse than what David Moyes had, Woodward is under heavy pressure to make a decision.
