Arsenal’s expected 4-2-3-1 formation against Watford-Star player misses out

Arsenal on the back of their 3-0 victory over Manchester United visit Watford this weekend. Wenger’s team is full of confidence after their comprehensive victory over the red devils. Although Arsenal’s season so far has been up and down the manner of their victory over Van Gaal’s side must give them immense confidence especially in the Champions League. Arsenal’s chances of qualifying for the knockout stages are very slim as they face Bayern Munich in back to back games and they need to get something from those two games. With Bayern in ominous form,it will take a special performance from Arsenal to get anything from the game.

Coming back to the Premier League, Arsenal’s team is likely to be unchanged. Alexis Sanchez had played for Chile even though he complained of a groin injury during the United match. The Chilean star is Arsenal’s main man and Wenger needs to protect him from any niggles getting aggravated. Sanchez does have a tendency to play on with small niggles during games. In the defence,Arsenal’s biggest lost is of Laurent Koscielny who is out with a hamstring injury. Wenger will hope to have him fit in time for the Bayern match. Mertesacker is likely to make his return in place of the injured Frenchman.
