Liverpool is reportedly set to sign Chelsea’s 20 year old, Isaac Christie-Davies whose contract expired at the end of this season according to the Metro. Isaac Christie-Davies could follow the footsteps of Dominic Solanke who joined Liverpool from Chelsea for free. Christie-Davies already has had a trial with Liverpool and the club was reportedly impressed with the young midfielder’s ability.

Liverpool’s recruitment strategy has improved immensely after Jurgen Klopp joined as a manager. Under Brendan Rodgers it was a mixed bag but under Klopp, Liverpool clearly identity players who are suited to Klopp’s system and then negotiate deals for them. Even financially, Liverpool have bought players for much below their market value and sold them for profit. By reaching the Champions League final, Klopp has exceeded everyone’s expectations this season. Whether they win the final or not, Liverpool’s future under the German certainly looks very bright. With Naby Keita already signed, Liverpool need a couple more signings to challenge for the title next season.
