Chelsea manager Antonio Conte is set to drop David Luiz from the squad to face Manchester United after a bust up following the defeat against Roma in the Champions League according to The Sun. We saw some of the worst defending from Conte’s tenure at Chelsea so far against Roma and Antonio Rudiger also might have to sit out for quite some time and work hard to regain the confidence of his manager.

Chelsea’s expected starting lineup- 3-4-3 Formation

Courtois | Cahill, Christensen, Azpilicueta | Alonso, Kanté, Drinkwater, Zappacosta | Hazard, Morata, Pedro

In midfield where Chelsea have struggled without Kante due to injury are set to welcome back the Frenchman along with Danny Drinkwater. The pair were the mainstays of Leicester’s title winning campaign but it might be a risky move considering that both of them are coming back from injury.

Manchester United on the other hand are expected to lineup in a 3-5-2 formation  with Lukaku and Rashford upfront. It will be an interesting tactical battle as both the managers are likely to opt for a safety first approach. Neutrals certainly shouldn’t have any high expectations watching this game.
