Danny Welbeck returned from a prolonged injury caused break and scored the winner against league leader Leicester City with seconds remaining on the clock. Later as Manchester City lost, Arsenal are in pole position now to win the league with their squad much stronger than the teams above them Spurs and Leicester. Although there will be more twists and turns until the league champions are crowned this season, Welbeck’s goal is a crucial boost Arsenal required at this stage. With a Champions League tie coming up against Barcelona, Wenger would be happy with the return of Danny Welbeck as this will give Arsenal more attacking firepower to continue their challenge on three fronts.
Pure joy

It’s that roar from the fans when Welbeck’s header goes in that gives me goosebumps. Amazing moment.

That Welbeck goal is absolutely one of the best moments of the season. I’m so overexcited my fiancée is looking concerned.

Only time will tell us whether Danny Welbeck’s goal makes any difference or not. But it has certainly lifted Arsenal and on the other hand Leicester were left heart broken after holding out with ten men till the last few seconds. Leicester have an easy run of fixtures coming up and of they manage to win all of them, they are in with a serious chance of winning the title.
