Antoine Griezmann who many consider as the best player in the world after Messi and Ronaldo has admitted in an interview to L’Equipe that he watches Manchester United games. The reason he does so is to follow his teammate at France, world record signing Paul Pogba. He goes on to say that, Pogba and Griezmann became close during the Euros when there was media criticism over France’s performance in the early stages of the tournament. Pogba as France’s best player bore the brunt majorly.
Manchester United fans would love to see Griezmann team up with Paul Pogba at Old Trafford but it will probably take another world record transfer to see the striker move. Diego Simeone has built a monster of a team which is comfortably ahead in football terms of Manchester United. Mourinho’s revolution at Manchester United has had stuttering start with Pogba especially struggling to settle in the Premier League.
