Arsenal star Mesut Ozil has held talks with Turkish Giants Fenerbahce according to the Turkish outlet Hurriyet. These talks were supposedly for a contract after two years when his contract with Arsenal comes to an end. So Arsenal fans needn’t worry about loosing their star anytime soon unless some European giant decides that they want Ozil.
Ozil publicly admitted that Arsenal had goofed up the title run in this season and urged Wenger to spend in the summer.This season could have been Arsenal’s easiest chance of winning the Premier League but they are at the moment far behind Leicester and Spurs. Petr Cech was the only player brought in last summer and although he has been key to Arsenal this season, the failure to bring any other star players to the Emirates has backfired as Arsenal are already out of the Champions League and most probably will finish 3rd or 4th in the Premier League.
Next season could be really tough for Arsenal if they don’t rebuild in the summer with all the big clubs planning to spend really big in the summer.
