Liverpool face AC Milan in their final Champions League group stage game at San Siro on Tuesday. Liverpool have already booked their place in the next round with 5 straight victories and with the Premier League title race heating up, Klopp is expected to make several changes.
Liverpool’s predicted 4-3-3 formation against Milan
Divock Origi after his heroics against Wolves on the weekend is bound to start as the striker. Minamino and Salah will partner him in attack, although Klopp might be inclined to take off the Egyptian in around 60 minutes to save him for the Premier League. In midfield, the young Tyler Morton is expected to start after his impressive debut against Porto in Liverpool’s last Champions League game. In defence, squad players like Neco Williams, Tsimikas and Konate will get their chance to impress their manager and make their case for a starting spot.
For Milan on the other hand, this is a must-win game as they are in a three-way battle for the second spot in their Champions League group. A win for Milan combined with a draw in the Porto-Atletico game or an Atletico win will see them qualify for the next round.
