Man United establish contact with Barcelona about future star

According to the Daily Mail, Manchester United have initiated contact with Barcelona about Marc Jurado who is a highly rated 16-year-old who is part of the famed La Masia academy. The English outlet quote the Spanish publication Sport as their source and also mention that Barcelona are confident in securing a new deal with Jurado. Manchester United have changed their transfer strategy under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, whereby they are looking to invest more and more in young and talented players rather than targeting established players.

The current football showdown has thrown a spanner into all the clubs’ summer transfer plans. The revenue loss and the uncertainty over whether the current season would be completed or not is a big challenge to every club’s plans.
