Barcelona who were snubbed last year by Matthijs de Ligt, have been encouraged in their pursuit of the Dutch star by Juventus’s interest in midfielder Arthur Melo. According to The Sun, a swap deal might be on the cards as the Coronavirus pandemic has limited most football clubs’ ability to make big-money signings. Juventus are interested in Barca’s Brazilian midfielder Arthur Melo also according to The Sun, who quote Spanish outlet Mundo Deportivo as their source and this interest could be leveraged by Barcelona in signing de Ligt.
