The Fellaini to Arsenal rumours are going stronger and stronger at the moment. Reports suggest that Emery has already spoken to the Belgian and the Times report that Arsenal will hold talks with the midfielder on Wednesday. Although, Fellaini won’t be missed by the Manchester United much, he would be a great addition to the Arsenal squad. He would provide the much needed physicality to the Arsenal midfield and also be a great plan b late in the game which Arsenal have been missing ever since they sold Olivier Giroud.
Fellaini has played in a variety of positions in his career and more recently has either played in a midfield 2 or a 3. He struggles to play in a midfield 2, especially in high energy games where his lack of pace and passing ability is shown very clearly. His favorite position is as the number 10 where he can play as the forward destroyer.
