According to a report in The Metro, Barcelona have started contacting several European clubs to sell their young winger, Ousmane Dembele. Dembele has already been linked with Liverpool recently, but this news that Barcelona is ready to sell him to any club willing to buy him is surprising considering that they invested so much in the young star. The report also claims that Barcelona is open to even loaning Dembele with an option to buy in the future.
If Dembele is available for transfer, many clubs in Europe will take notice surely. A right winger of such talent and ability will surely attract interest from all the top clubs and there might even be an bidding war for him. But still, it is difficult to see how Barcelona can recoup the whole amount they spent on Dembele when he transferred from Borussia Dortmund. One reason why Barcelona is looking to offload Dembele might be to make space for Antoine Griezmann who is rumoured to be joining the Catalans this summer from Atletico Madrid.
