Napoli’s thrilling win cuts Juventus’ lead at the top of the Serie A to just 4 points

Napoli beat Udinese 4-2 in a thrilling match to setup a title showdown with Juventus on the 22nd when the top two sides in Serie A face each other. Juventus were held by Crotone to a disappointing 1-1 draw but still are clear favorites with their 4 point advantage. Also, Napoli have to beat Juventus in Turin to have a realistic chance of snatching away the title from the old lady.

Maurizio Sarri who has earned widespread praise from all over Europe because of Napoli’s thrilling style of football has promised that Napoli won’t abandon their principles of attacking football when they visit Turin.

“Our team always tries to take the initiative and play our football, regardless of venue, opponent or situation. That is our philosophy,”

“Clearly, it’s difficult to go to Turin and try to get the victory, as in terms of strength in depth, I think Juventus are the most complete team in Europe. We’ll give it our best shot.”

After another heartbreaking failure in the Champions League, Juventus will again look at domestic success to heal their wounds. But this gameweek’s results will add more pressure as now Napoli have a realistic chance of beating them to the Scudetto with 5 more matches remaining. Beating Juventus in Turin is not going to be an easy task, but if you think that Napoli can do it, then check out Juventus vs Napoli betting odds and place your bets.

“Lately we’ve been very solid defensively, but had some moments of real passivity today. It’s better that they happened tonight rather than on Sunday. I hope it was a one-off, as the team knows full well how fundamental the defensive movements are in the next game.

“There are five rounds left, so saying it all depends on the match in Turin is reductive. It’s a difficult fixture, just as it would be travelling to Paris or Manchester.”
