Liverpool have offered a stunning three year contract to Manchester United midfielder Marouane Fellaini who is out of contract this summer according to the Daily Mail. Fellaini is set to leave Old Trafford after 5 years as the club and the player have failed to agree to a new contract. Fellaini has had a weird time at Old Trafford, largely disliked by United fans but has been liked by all his managers including Jose Mourinho. There is interest from various other clubs around Europe and even from China, but it would be hard to turn down Liverpool if Fellaini wants to stay back in England.

Generally any player moving from United to Liverpool will be subject to a lot of abuse and hate from fans but in Fellaini’s case, most United fans might be happy to see the Belgian out of the club. Unfortunately for the big Belgian, his transfer epitomised the disoriented transfer strategy United has pursued after Sir Alex left the club in 2013.
