The Sun reports that PSG winger Lucas Moura wants to only sign for Manchester United although other clubs like Bordeaux, FC Nantes and Nice and La Liga outfit Real Betis are also interested. Moura has had an underwhelming season at Paris as he has found first team opportunities very hard to come by. So PSG are willing to let him go and the player is also interested but the only problem lies in the nature of the deal. PSG reportedly will only sanction a loan deal if it includes a buy out clause worth £40million. United surely on the other hand would prefer to decide on a permanent transfer only after the loan period.

Lucas Moura was heavily linked to United before he chose to move to PSG from Sao Paulo for £38m. The Brazilian has not exactly lived upto his potential and a move away from PSG will only work in his favour.

Manchester United’s transfer policy has come under heavy criticism after Mourinho claimed that they have not spent enough to compete with Manchester City after spending  £300m himself over the past two years. But United’s squad still is heavily unbalanced and if Mourinho chooses to stay beyond this season, we can expect another round of heavy spending.
