After losing Philippe Coutinho to Barcelona, Liverpool fans might also have too see their beloved Mohamed Salah leave the club to join Real Madrid in the summer according to the Daily Star. Real Madrid have not made a statement signing after they signed Gareth Bale from Spurs and considering their dismal form this season, Florentino Perez is expected to sanction some big money moves this summer. Salah has been brilliant for Liverpool this season and also because he is the most popular footballer from Egypt, his transfer makes perfect sense for Real Madrid from both a footballing and a financial perspective.

From a footballing point of view, Salah will fit in perfectly among the front three at Real Madrid. Karim Benzema has been out of form for sometime now and Gareth Bale is prone to injuries. Even Ronaldo is having a torrid time in the La Liga this season, so if Salah replicates his Liverpool form, he should have no problem in being picked for Real Madrid.

Salah also represents a huge marketing opportunity for Real Madrid as signing him will attract millions of fans from his home country, Egypt. Whether Liverpool will let him go or not is another matter altogether. It might require the player to agitate for a move just like Coutinho did, otherwise it is difficult to see Klopp let go of his best player no matter what the amount offered is.
