According to Chris Wheatley of Goal.com, Arsenal are expected to clear out a number of players over the next 6 months. The likes of Alexis Sanchez, Francis Coquelin and Mathieu Debuchy are likely to sold as early as in the January transfer window. Sanchez almost left for Manchester City in the summer but now is expected to finally complete the move to Etihad. Coquelin who wants to leave in search for first team opportunities is the target of certain Ligue 1 clubs and also West Ham. Debuchy on the other hand is rumoured to be part of a swap deal with West Bromwich Albion with Jonny Evans moving the other way. Evans is also target to interest from Manchester City who are looking to add another center back to their squad after they missed out on Virgil Van Dijk.

Other players who might leave the club in the next 6 months are Mesut Ozil, Theo Walcott and Olivier Giroud. Ozil has been linked to Manchester United and is almost certain to leave the Gunners either now in January or in the summer. Both Walcott and Giroud understandably will be looking at opportunities elsewhere as they are clearly not in the first team plans of Arsene Wenger. Giroud has been an brilliant player for Arsenal with his super-sub appearances. But for the sake of his own career, he needs to play first team football every week. He is simply too good to be rotting on the bench.
