Championship side Fulham have started preparing for the eventual departure of wonderkid, Ryan Sessegnon according to The Sun. Fulham have already started their search for a replacement fullback to sign in the January transfer window. Sessegnon is a highly rated left back who can play further ahead as well. Spurs and Manchester United are both rumoured to be interested in the youngster as they have been monitoring the progress of Sessegnon for a long time.

Manchester United’s interest in signing a long term solution for the left back position is a clear indication that the career of Luke Shaw at Old Trafford is on it’s last legs. He had an impressive outing in the Champions League against Spartak Moscow and Mourinho did say that he would feature again for the first team but the odds are still on Shaw leaving United. Guardiola recognised that the full backs are one of the most vital positions in the modern game and bought quality attacking full backs in the summer. United need to do the same. Although Young and Valencia have performed well this season, they are nowhere close to the level of players who would help United win the league against this City side.
