Manchester United’s Marcus Rashford is on Real Madrid’s shortlist of players to replace Alvaro Morata at the Santiago Bernabeu. According to the Daily Star who quote Diario Gol, Real Madrid are looking at Dortmund’s Aubameyang, Timo Werner and Simon Dolberg along with Marcus Rashford. After the entire Morata saga, Real know that negotiating a deal with Manchester United will be a tough ask. Especially considering that Rashford is a local lad from the academy, there is a very minimal chance that this transfer happens.
This story comes at a time when the De Gea to Real story is still going around. Although, De Gea is part of the Manchester United pre-season tour in the United states, there are reports which suggest that Real are still interested in the Spaniard and might look to buy him this summer. De Gea, of course prefers a move back to his city Madrid. Becoming Real’s number one will give him a great chance to become Spain’s captain following Iker Casillas’s footsteps.
