Spanish club Real Sociedad are confident of signing Manchester United youngster Adnan Januzaj according to Marca. Januzaj has only one year left on his contract at Old Trafford but it highly unlikely that United will be offering him a new deal. After a stunning few months in his first season, Januzaj has struggled to impress both at Old Trafford and at the clubs he was loaned to.

Manchester United are reportedly asking for 10 million Euros which seems to be a bit high. United should insert a buy-back clause in Januzaj’s sale as the talent in the player is clear to everyone. Some players do tend to mature a little later and Januzaj might be one of them.

So far the clearout at Old Trafford has only begun with Zlatan Ibrahimovic being released, but Mourinho is expected to clear out at least 3-4 players which is likely to include Wayne Rooney. After Victor Lindelof‘s signing, it is clear that one of Phil Jones and Chris Smalling will also be shown the door.
