Cristiano Ronaldo has asked his agent Jorge Mendes to get him back to Manchester United according to the Portuguese outlet A Bola. The rumours surrounding Ronaldo’s future are certainly not dying down and this might drag on for the whole of summer. It is highly likely that if Ronaldo moves, it will be only to Manchester United although German media today had a field day linking him with a move to Bayern Munich. Ronaldo enjoys a good relationship both with Carlo Ancelotti and Jose Mourinho but Manchester United still has a special place in his heart.
Many players across Europe have leveraged Manchester United to get better contracts at their own club but this time it doesn’t seem that Ronaldo is doing anything of that sort. Ronaldo can easily get a better contract at Real without creating a fuss especially considering the season they just had. This is a historic time at Real with their consecutive title wins, footballing logic says that Ronaldo should finish his career there. His agent Jorge Mendes might be playing a huge role in the background as he is bound to make a substantial fee if there is a transfer.
