Manchester United’s hope of signing Ivan Perisic this summer has taken a big hit as Inter reportedly are not interested in letting their Croatian winger leave this summer according to The Metro. Inter’s manager Luciano Spalletti wants to keep the Croatian as he aims to return Inter to it’s glory days. Both the Milan clubs have been off the radar in recent years due to financial and footballing problems. New investors have pumped in money and the rebuilding projects have just started off.

Although Perisic won’t be a big miss even if Man United don’t sign him, Mourinho will be dissapointed with the news. In the past few days there has been no new updates regarding United’s pursuit of Morata and the Ronaldo rumours have cooled down. United need to reinforce their squad especially in midfield and in attack. Fabinho is another transfer target who could play in defensive midfield as well as provide cover to Antonio Valencia. United fans will be hoping that club finishes all of it’s transfer business early which will allow the new players to settle in and have a good pre-season.
