There has been a lot of speculation on Rooney’s future and it looks like he will leave the club in the summer. Everton have expressed interest in signing him but Rooney might end up on the bench even at Goodison Park. In Lukaku and Barkley, Everton have two young players who are playing better than Rooney at the moment.
