Wayne Rooney out of @ManUtd game at Chelsea after coming off worse in training ground collision with Phil Jones. No blame to Jones.

Jose Mourinho now has both his senior strikers unavailable for selection after Wayne Rooney’s injury in training. Zlatan Ibrahimovic is already out of the game as he starts his three match suspension after his shoulder to Tyron Mings in the game against Bournemouth.
Marcus Rashford is the most likely player to start as the central striker, a role which he this season has rarely played as. Last year, Rashford announced his arrival at Old Trafford by excelling as the lone striker but with the form of Zlatan Ibrahimovic, he found his opportunities rather limited this season. Rashford’s pace will prove to be a challenge to the Chelsea defence who have been rock solid this season after moving to a back three. Mourinho himself might opt for a back three, the same formation which United used against Rostov. Spurs the last side to beat Chelsea used a three man defence themselves, so Mourinho can take notes from Pochettino’s side on how to beat Chelsea.
