According to The Sun, Chinese club Shandong Luneng has offered Ashley Young a massive pay hike with a package of £10million a year. Young who has barely played this season has virtually no chance of breaking into the first team on a constant basis. The only way, he will get chances is when Mourinho decides to rest players or Manchester United is hit with a injury crisis.

Signed by Alex Ferguson, Young has barely featured in his preferred in right wing role even last year as he was converted into a full back under Louis Van Gaal. With Antonio Valencia in imperious form and with Darmian and Phil Jones as backups, Young has very little chance of grabbing the RB spot. Although, the Left Back spot remains a concern for United, there is still heavy competition with Shaw, Darmian and Daley Blind the main contenders. It is understandable if Young chooses to move to China, as he will get to play regular football and also will be earning more money than he ever has in his career.
