Manchester United’s game against Zorya Luhansk tomorrow night in all likelihood is set to be cancelled because of the weather. Although football unlike many other sports is played in all weather conditions, the pitch for tomorrow is already said to be frozen and rock solid. This poses a major risk to the players and especially Jose Mourinho will be praying that the pitch doesn’t cause any major injuries.
UEFA will find it tough to fit in this fixture in United’s tight schedule if it is cancelled tomorrow. United might be put in a situation which is far worse than playing on Thursdays and Sundays. Mourinho knows that it is an important match for Manchester United as till they are in the competition they have slim chance of qualifying for the Champions League.
