After signing €80m star, Man United’s new look 4-3-3 in 2016-17

According to Italian Journalist Di Marzio, Manchester United have got the permission from Benfica to conduct talks with Renato Sanches. Di Marzio is a highly reliable source and also Jorge Mendes is Sanches’ agent so United fans can be rest assured that this is a done deal. Lets take a look at how Sanches can fit in at Manchester United next season.

4 players Mourinho will immediately sell if appointed as Man Utd manager

Sanches can play as a number ten but coming to the Premier League at such a young age, it will be difficult for the youngster. He needs to adjust to the league and it will take sometime as the Premier League is much faster and much more physical compared to other European leagues. So initially United should play him in a 4-3-3 as part of the middle three and then later slowly move him towards the goal into a more natural number 10 role.

Of course this lineup assumes that United will make more signings which is unlikely to happen. Woodward needs to spend money and this time he needs to get his transfer right.

  1. Shaw and Herrera for Darmian and Rooney…
I am still unsure about Schneiderlin, his passing is awful half the time. I prefer blind playing CDM now that he’s passing forward and got better at defending. He’s still a bit weak for CD.
