Ed Woodward’s transfer signings have been underwhelming so far. Three of the biggest stars he has signed are Angel Di Maria, Radamel Falcao and Bastian Schweinsteiger and all United fans would agree that all three have been major disappointments. This time, Woodward must get it right, here are 5 players who we think will be a success at Manchester United.

Mario Gotze

German World Cup hero is all set to leave Bayern Munich this summer as he has not been able to break into the first team. Apparently Liverpool are leading the race at the moment, but United can easily offer him better terms.

Aleksandar Dragovic

As mentioned earlier Manchester United are in a desperate need for a new center back. To play a diamond or a 4-3-3 they need a defence in which the whole team has confidence in. Dinamo Kiev’s Dragovic might be a hit or miss signing, but at the rumoured 11 million pounds he can be bought at,United can afford to take the chance.

Ross Barkley

Ross Barkley’s ability to shrug of defenders and power through reminds one of a younger Wayne Rooney. He has to be signed before the Euros as a good performance in the Euros will ensure a battle for his signature and his price will increase.

 David De Gea

David De Gea has been Manchester United’s best player for the past three seasons and there is no question that he is one of the best in the world. Woodward should ensure that the Spaniard doesn’t leave and is settled in United for the long term.

  1. Yeah we really need to keep De Gea but that isn’t exactly a signing.
We have some great talent at the club, now we need characters to lead those youngsters. I would like to see us get zlatan, hummels, Renato Sanches and Pogba/Modric
