Arsenal threw away a 2-0 lead to draw 3-3 with West Ham after Andy Carroll scored a superb Hattrick. In fact West Ham were leading the game 3-2 at one stage before Laurent Koscielny equalised for the Gunners and salvaged some pride. The title challenge is all but over now, and with City breathing down their necks, Arsenal might be caught in the race for the Champions League spots.

Teacher: What does the law of gravity say?
Me: What goes up must come down.
Teacher: Can you give me an example?
Me: Arsenal.

Arsene Wenger is under intense pressure now from Arsenal fans majority of whom want him to quit. The summer transfer window will be key for Wenger as he needs to show intent to calm down the supporters. The previous summer was the best opportunity for Arsenal to add some squad depth as they didn’t lose any players but they ended up signing only Petr Cech. Injuries definitely took a toll on the squad and the lack of spending in the summer was a major factor in Arsenal not able to win crucial games. This summer with big names taking over at Manchester City, Chelsea and most probably Manchester United too, might be Arsene’s last summer window at Arsenal unless something drastic changes.
