According to ESPN, Chelsea defender Kyle Scott has handed in a transfer request. Scott is an 18 year old who joined from Southampton and signed a new deal in January. The youngster has been key to Chelsea’s youth team which has had many successes in the recent past including winning the UEFA Youth League for the past two years.

Although Scott’s deal runs till 2019, he might have been promised first team action by some other club which has led to him in submitting the transfer request. Chelsea do not have a favourable history of promoting youth to the senior side.

Manchester United are ready to cut their losses on Memphis Depay as they are prepared to offer him in exchange for Sadio Mane according to the Daily Star. United were interested in signing Mane both in the summer and in the January transfer window but Koeman was unwilling to let go of the powerful winger. With Depay being offered in a part deal, Koeman might be easier to convince.
