Sir Alex Ferguson who makes it a point to attend every Manchester United match was joined by the Brazilian Ronaldo and Roy Hodgson at the Wembley stadium for the FA Cup Semifinals between Manchester United and Everton.
Hodgson was of course there to see some of the English players playing before his final squad selection for the Euros. Sir Alex on the other hand celebrated a late United winner after Anthony Martial’s brilliance in injury time. Martial’s rise is one of the few bright spots in a dull campaign for United this year. They might be still end up winning the FA Cup and qualifying for the Champions League after Arsenal’s poor form continued. Manchester City and Arsenal will have to play each other and this puts United in a more advantageous position although they are still in fifth position behind both the clubs.
