Jose Mourinho has named two players from his former club Real Madrid as his priority signings for Manchester United according to reports from Spain. According to the Spanish outlet Fichajes.net , Mourinho although publicly denying that he has signed a contract with United has informed United officials that James Rodriguez and Raphael Varane are his two summer transfer targets. Both these players have found it hard to break into the first team at Real Madrid so both of them are viable targets for the English club.
Both the Spanish and the Portuguese media have maintained that the deal for Mourinho is completed and that on June 1 , he will take over at Manchester United. On the other hand the Dutch media insists that Van Gaal still believes that he will be the manager next season and see out his contract. The English media on the other hand have absolutely no clue what is happening but are generally reporting on what the Spanish media are saying. Especially with Mourinho and Jorge Mendes involved ,it makes sense to trust the Spanish media rather than the Dutch some of whom have a soft corner for Van Gaal.
