Louis Van Gaal was criticized widely all over the press and social media for his starting lineup and substitutions against Spurs. It was clear for everyone to see that Van Gaal got his tactics completely wrong especially in the second half when Spurs scored three goals with complete ease and won the game.

Herrera should replace Carrick as two games within 4 days will be physically very tough for the out of form and ageing Englishman . Wayne Rooney should make his return to the team although it will be in place of Juan Mata instead of Lingard or Rashford. Van Gaal pointed out that he doesn’t want to play Martial as a striker so the Frenchman will again start on the left.
