Man United submit bid for their first transfer of the summer

Manchester United have submitted a bid for Ajax star Riechedly Bazoer. French outlet Le10sport have broken this news that Manchester United are keen to secure the Dutchman’ services before there is a bidding war. Bazoer is central midfielder who has the potential to be a long term successor for the aging Michael Carrick. He can sit in front of the defence like Carrick does and dictate play from there. But he also has the legs to play a more dynamic role as a box to box midfielder.

Already Bazoer has had a lot of clubs like Arsenal,Juventus and Bayern Munich monitor his progress but the young star recently said that he is not bothered about money and that he wants to stay at Ajax at least till 2020. Young players who move very early to big clubs end up rotting on the bench or playing for the reserves and this hinders their development. But Manchester United is one big club which always gives chances to its youngsters and Bazoer can take confidence from this season when Van Gaal has handed over numerous debuts to youth team players.
