Real Madrid have offered Manchester United the chance to sign Cristiano Ronaldo for €60m this summer. According to the Independent, sources in Spain claim that Real Madrid are keen to sell Ronaldo this summer, as the value of the aging star is only going to decline with his contract expiring in 2018. Ronaldo whose goal return has not faltered has started to show signs of aging. He has become more of a ‘Poacher‘ now and tends to stick the opposition penalty box more often than not.

Many United fans might be excited if he returns to Old Trafford, but the fact remains that United will be buying an aging star who might struggle to adapt back to the Premier League and more importantly he will be blocking the progress of someone younger like Anthony Martial.

Ronaldo has managed to score 42 goals this season for Real Madrid but after a shock 2-0 defeat to Wolfsburg, Real might end this season trophy less under Zinedine Zidane. After a morale boosting win over Barcelona in El Clasico, Real were given a shock by their German opponents. Real desperately need to mount a comeback to salvage their season.
