Daily Star reported the Laurent Blanc currently the PSG coach has held secret talks with United officials in Manchester. Blanc was reportedly taken straight from the airport to the ground and then returned to Paris the same day. Blanc does have some support from former players at United if he wishes to take the job at United as he is seen as a more calmer and no controversial figure compared to Mourinho. Another big reason for United to appoint the Frenchman is his willingness to work with the existing backroom staff especially with Ryan Giggs unlike Mourinho. Mourinho will clear out all the backroom staff and being his own team but United officials want Giggs to stay as the assistant manager as they see him as managing the club one day.
Last week there were reports which say that PSG is interested in Jose Mourinho and if they move for him, United may happy to get Blanc themselves.

Giggs, great player but hopeless as a manager, certainly he needs to become his own man but at a much smaller club, start like Hughes & Bruce did, he needs at least 5 years before seriously being considered as boss of United, just not going to happen, Jose wins trophies end of!
