Timothy Fosu-Mensah the wonderkid who has emerged this season has promised the United fans that he will keep working hard to improve himself as a player. Fosu-Mensah who can play in various positions across the defence and also slot in as the defensive midfielder has impressed Manchester United fans with his performances for the first team.
Fosu-Mensah said,
“I’m very delighted [to see the fans’ reaction] but, as I said, I have to keep working hard.
“I just try to keep my head cool and try to do what I always do when I play and focus on playing my game.”
Incidentally Fosu-Mensah is the highest rated youth player in our Manchester United Youth Rankings 2016. With Marcus Rojo and Matteo Darmian struggling in the Premier League, Fosu-Mensah has a glorious opportunity to establish himself in the first team at Old Trafford. With Jose Mourinho expected to manage next season, Fosu-Mensah will only grow on to become a better player as the Portuguese has a great record in developing defenders. Fosu-Mensah will have set his sights on winning his first trophy at Manchester United as the reddevils have reached the FA Cup final after beating Everton in the semis.
