Manchester United has reportedly beaten the likes of Chelsea and Arsenal to the signature of Feyenoord wonderkid Tahith Chong. Daily Mail reports that the move is close to be finalised in the next few days. Initially both Chelsea and Arsenal were also interested to sign the youngster but he seems to have preferred Man United over the two clubs.

Van Gaal being a Dutch coach and with the likes of Fosu-Mensah and Rashford getting first team opportunities would have helped the youngster in making his decision. United have been tracking his progress for well over a year now but the youngster wanted to remain in Netherlands. He has so far refused to sign a professional contract with the Dutch club and it is highly unlikely that he will.

Chong is a left winger who can play behind the striker and lead the line too. Having been schooled in the Dutch system for so long, this is the perfect time for him to move to England. A combination of physical development and technical training  will help the youngster reach his potential.
