Ashley Young and Ander Herrera are back in the Manchester United squad after recovering from their injuries. Young who was a key player last year has been out since the middle of January. Herrera missed the last two games and his return will boost United’s prospects of making the top 4 this season. Both Ashley Young and Ander Herrera were key players for United last season, when they finished in the top 4. Ashley Young in particular had his best season at United as he kept Angel Di Maria out of the team.
Manchester City and Arsenal both won their games yesterday so anything but a victory will put the brakes on United’s attempts to qualify for the Champions League next season. On the other hand, Roberto Martinez is under pressure with the lack of progress shown this season by Everton. Romelu Lukaku has already made noises about leaving the club for a club which is in the Champions League and along with him Everton are in serious danger of losing their other young stars like John Stones and Ross Barkley. Martinez has never been a great defensive organiser and this has shown repeatedly as Everton keep conceding late goals and drop points more often than not.
