Arsenal will face Watford on Saturday at The Emirates in what should be an easy game for the gunners. Alex Iwobi is expected to start after impressing Arsene Wenger in the previous game. This means that there is no place for either Theo Walcott or Oliver Giroud. This is a critical period for Walcott as he is in danger of missing out on the Euros. He is in direct competition with his teammate Danny Welbeck for a spot in the England squad. Welbeck is a Hodgson favourite and also has done well after coming back from his injury where as Walcott has struggled and has been anonymous in most of the recent games.
Cech’s fitness is still doubtful,so it’s either Cech or Ospina playing in goal for Arsenal. Elneny is also expected to continue in the team after his impressive start to his Arsenal career. The Egyptian has been neat and tidy in possession and has worked hard otherwise. And at 23, he has time on his side to develop into a top defensive midfielder. Arsene Wenger will hope that the league leaders Leicester and second place Spurs drop points so that Arsenal get back in the title race so that his players have something to play for and remain motivated.
