German midfielder Mario Gotze wants a reunion with Jurgen Klopp at Liverpool according to The Mirror. Gotze who scored the world cup winning goal for Germany in 2014 has had an injury plagued time at Bayern which has seen him spend more time on the bench rather than on the pitch. Gotze had the best time of his career at Dortmund under Jurgen Klopp and would love to rejoin him at Liverpool. At Liverpool surely, Gotze would be loved as Liverpool fans long for a true world-class star after the departures of Luis Suarez and Steven Gerrard.
Liverpool currently are not in Champions League places and are not likely to make into the top 4. But Klopp can convince Mario Gotze to trust in his project at Liverpool as the German seeks to rebuild the club and make it a European superpower again. This are definitely exciting times for Liverpool fans as they have an young and exciting manager who could do wonders if given time and money. This summer transfer window will be crucial as Klopp needs to get rid of a lot of deadwood from the club and bring in some players who suit his style.
