Manchester United expected starting lineup,tactics against Sunderland

Rooney is in good form having scored 7 out of his last 8 games along with 2 assists. His confidence is back which has helped his finishing a lot. This is good news for Roy Hodgson who now has a problem which every other manager will wish to have. With Rooney back in form, Roy has to select one amongst Rooney, Kane and Vardy. The latter two are in great form and Vardy just might be the fairytale story England need to win the Euro 2016.

De Gea solidified his claim as the best goalkeeper in the world with another outstanding performance against Chelsea. United’s defence look stable at the moment and backed up by an in-form world class goalkeeper,they should keep a cleansheet against Sunderland. In midfield, Carrick’s form has helped United gain control in recent times. Van Gaal will hope that his star midfielder will continue his form.
