Gerrard set for sensational Anfield return after talks with Klopp

Steven Gerrard the ex-Liverpool captain has held talks with Jurgen Klopp and is in line for a sensational return to Anfield according to The Independent.  Although it is almost sure that Steven Gerrard will train with the Liverpool squad till January 15, i.e till when the MLS re opens,it remains to be seen whether Galaxay will offer Gerrard the same loan deals it offered David Beckham which saw him play for AC Milan.

Gerrard who has scored two goals so far for LA Galaxy will take his time to make a decision regarding Liverpool. Gerrard is expected to be present during the weekend at Liverpool and he is expected to visit Anfield during the match against Crystal Palace. A post match meeting Jurgen Klopp will make it clear for the Anfield legend on what role is Klopp having in mind for the former Liverpool captain.

With Henderson out with injury,Klopp has opted for a offensively limited but defensively sound duo of Lucas and Can as the double pivot behind the attacking forces of Coutinho et al. Gerrard will prove to be an able backup to Henderson and will be useful in killing games off which Liverpool in the recent few years have struggled to do so. It will be  a dream come true for many Anfield regulars to see their hero back their colors so soon but at the moment all indications are pointing towards a part-time coaching/training role for Steven Gerrard.
