James Wilson the next big hope for all Manchester United fans has been reportedly told by Van Gaal that he will be sent out on loan next season to help hone his skills. According to The Metro, Van Gaal wants Wilson, the club’s most exciting prospect to have more of first team football. Although this season Wilson has got the chance in the first team, the presence of big names have hindered his progress. With United expected to buy a striker in the summer and along with Wayne Rooney and Robin Van Persie in the team,Wilson will face a lot of competition for the striker spot.

Manchester-United-v-Swansea

This news will come as a surprise to many United fans as Van Gaal has been known to give youth a chance and especially with the strikers misfiring this season, one could have expected that he will trust Wilson to step up. Wilson or not, United as a team have to improve a lot if they want to qualify for the Champions League. Against Swansea, there was some sign of improvement in form but a lot more work has to be done as they have a tough run of fixtures ahead. A change in formation from 3-5-2 to a midfield diamond also hasn’t worked as people expected,so Van Gaal might have to change to a 4-4-2.
