Josh Doughty,a Canadian-American has passed his medical and has signed for Manchester United. A former member of the Real Salt Lake Academy, Doughty is a midfielder who can operate both out wide and in the middle. Doughty currently on the books of Canada’s youth teams has multiple options when it comes to international football. Including Canada he can also play for the United states and England.

Van Gaal a firm believer in Youth,has made it clear in his initial team selections that he prefers youth to experience as he believes that Youth are more easily moulded in to his way of playing football than the experienced.
