After another draw in the Premier League, Manchester United face Zorya Luhansk in the Europa league where the English side need a draw to qualify for the next round. United have been disappointing in the league and Mourinho will understand that their chances of qualifying of Champions League have considerably lessened. Winning the Europa League will allow Manchester United a backdoor entry to the Champions League next season.

After missing out against Everton, Juan Mata and Wayne Rooney will be expected to start against the Ukrainian club. Mkhitaryan’s impressive form should see him start over Memphis Depay and Marcus Rashford.

Sergio Romero has deputed for David De Gea previously in the Europa League, but Mourinho wouldn’t want to take any chance in a match where if United lose, all hell will break loose. As long as Manchester United remains in the Europa League, there will be a hope that United can play in the Champions League next season and this can ease off the immense pressure on Mourinho’s shoulders.
