Ryan Giggs is expected to leave Old Trafford this week according to the Metro. Giggs who has worked under David Moyes and Louis Van Gaal as the assistant manager played all his career at Manchester United. The new coach Mourinho is unwilling to let Giggs continue as the assistant manager but is ready to let him pick any other position at the club. Giggs on the other hand feels that his time is up at Old Trafford and possibly will join a new club as the manager before the season starts.

Ryan Giggs has been long groomed as the future manager of Manchester United but the failures of David Moyes and Louis Van Gaal prompted Woodward to go for a more safer choice in Jose Mourinho. The best move for Giggs would be to manage a smaller club in the Premier League and then later take up the role at Old Trafford. The job at Manchester United is one which requires the best in the business and it would be better for Giggs to try out management at a different club first.
