After the draw against Leicester, Louis Van Gaal much to the horror of many United fans proclaimed that he will be incharge of Manchester United next season. He again said that it takes three years for a team to achieve it’s potential. A Guardian report also said that although there have been some talks between United officials and Jorge Mendes , there still have been no concrete discussion regarding Mourinho coming to Manchester United. Mourinho understands that Man United have not made any decision yet and will only take a call if United don’t qualify for the Champions League next season. Mourinho has multiple options across Europe but is waiting for the season to end to make his decision. Now the present scenario looks like if United qualify for the Champions League, then Van Gaal will stay and only not finishing in the top 4 will force the United board to make a decision regarding Van Gaal’s future. So what do United fans want? The prospect of a third season with Van Gaal is not something many fans are happy about.It’s been three years since, United have been playing without any passion for attacking football and a fourth season will be too much to take for some fans.
