Young start Marcus Rashford is on the verge of signing a new contract as he continues his impressive performances on the pitch. Rashford who has scored 7 goals in his last 12 appearances is set to sign a contract worth nearly £14,000-a-week, according to TransferMarketWeb

The young star currently earns about £1500 a week but is keeping the likes of Wayne Rooney out of the team. He will continue as United’s striker for the next two game and if his form continues, Roy Hodgson will be forced to take him to the Euros. England currently have a surplus of strikers and Hodgson has to choose the five strikers he takes with him very carefully. Harry Kane, Jamie Vardy and Wayne Rooney are the three assured of their berths. Danny Welbeck, Theo Walcott, Daniel Sturridge and now Marcus Rashford are competing for the two final spots. On current form there is no doubt that Rashford should be on his way to France but Hodgson like many other international managers prefers to stick with his core group of players rather than bring in new players at the last moment.
